How do I report on contractor invoices and commission in agentOS?

The Contractor Invoices Power Report shows the total value of invoices sent to each contractor, any commission charged, and the net amount paid — helping you assess whether your commission rates are set appropriately.

The Contractor Invoices report is a Power Report available within agentOS. It gives you a breakdown of each contractor invoice, including the total amount invoiced, any sales charges (commission) applied, and the net amount actually paid to the contractor after deductions.

What the report shows

The report displays the following columns for each invoice:

  • Invoices — the invoice reference number.
  • Invoiced — the date the invoice was raised.
  • Sales Net Amount — any charges applied to the contractor on this invoice (net of VAT).
  • Sales VAT Amount — the VAT on any contractor charges.
  • Invoice Total — the total value of the invoice.
  • Sales Net Paid — the amount charged to the contractor.
  • NonSales Paid — the remaining balance of the invoice after deductions — i.e. the amount paid to the contractor.

Example

If an invoice has £480 in maintenance deductions and £57.60 in contractor commission, the NonSales Paid figure (the amount paid to the contractor) would be £422.40.

How to use this report

This report is useful for reviewing whether your current contractor commission rates are appropriate, and for identifying contractors where commission is not currently being charged. It provides the insight you need to decide whether to renegotiate or begin applying commission charges.
