Why hasn't rent appeared in a landlord's account?

Rent may not appear because the tenant hasn't paid, the tenancy agreement hasn't been signed, or there's a system issue requiring support assistance.

If rent hasn't appeared in a landlord's account, follow these diagnostic steps to identify the issue:

Step 1: Verify tenant payment

Check Rent Chase to confirm whether the tenant has actually paid their rent or still owes it. If the tenant has an outstanding balance, this explains why rent hasn't reached the landlord's account.

Step 2: Check if the tenant appears on Rent Chase

If the tenant isn't appearing on Rent Chase at all, this usually indicates an issue with the tenancy agreement:

  1. Search for the property in agentOS
  2. Click into the Tenancies section
  3. Verify whether the tenancy agreement has been signed
  4. If the tenancy is unsigned, go to Actions > Sign Tenancy to complete this step

Once the tenancy agreement is signed, rent should begin flowing through normally.

Step 3: Contact support if the issue persists

If the tenancy is already signed and rent still hasn't appeared in the landlord's account, contact support@agentos.com for further guidance. There may be a system issue that needs investigating.
