Why has agentOS logged me out?

agentOS may log you out for one of two reasons: another user has logged in on a different device using the same account, or the system has timed you out as a security precaution.

If you have stepped away from your desk or been working on a different screen and returned to find that agentOS has logged you out, there are two possible reasons for this.

Reason 1 — You Are Sharing an Account and Someone Else Logged In

If you are sharing your agentOS account with another person, they may have logged in on their own device while you were away. An account can only be active on one device at a time, which means that when they logged in, your session was ended automatically.

Sharing accounts is not recommended for this reason. If your agency needs additional users on the system, please refer to the related article on how to add a new user or staff member in agentOS.

Reason 2 — The System Has Timed You Out as a Security Precaution

After a period of inactivity, agentOS may automatically log you out as a security measure. To prevent this from happening, periodically return to your system and click on one of the tabs to refresh the timer and keep your session active.

If neither of these reasons applies to your situation, contact support@agentos.com and the team will look into it for you.
