Why has a payment not received into my account?

If you've recently opened an account, attempted to make a payment and the funds are not being received, here is why.

With Calmony and Griffin client bank accounts before any funds can be received;

  1. We must have at least one verified payee, meaning they've been verified and have passed the verification process. Tip: as an account owner you can verify yourself which would immediately activate the account. 
  2. If a payment has been made then it will be returned to sender.
  3. Please be aware Griffin Bank are charged when this happens and they may pass the charges on to us which we would have to pass on to the account holder.

    It is important that you verify one person before any funds land in the accounts.
