Why does my Calmony subscription tier increase if I don't bank funds?
Active accounts stay at your current tier. Dormant accounts reflect the real cost of holding a Griffin bank account allocation.
When you open a Calmony account, you're allocated a dedicated account facility from Griffin Bank. Calmony and Griffin has finite accounts available, and each one is a valuable resource.
If your account remains dormant, with zero balance and no payments in or out for ninety dayswe upgrade your subscription tier.
This isn't a penalty for inactivity. Instead, it reflects the genuine cost of holding that allocation when it's not being used.
Active accounts efficiently use Griffin's infrastructure, which means you benefit from optimal pricing.
Dormant accounts require us to maintain an unused allocation, so they move to a tier that fairly reflects that overhead.
You'll have seven days from notification to transact through your account and avoid the upgrade.
Funds banked, payments processed, or account activity within that window keeps you at your current tier.
