What do blue payment entries mean in agentOS?

Blue entries are payments previously linked to a tenant—either by you or a colleague—which means you only need to verify they look correct, tick them, and post them.

In agentOS, the colour of payment entries helps you quickly identify their status:

Blue entries indicate previously linked payments When a payment appears in blue, it means the payment has been linked to a tenant before—either by you or someone else in your organisation. This happens because you (or a colleague) set it up as a "repeat person electronic payment" when it was first received.

Why does this matter? Once a payment has been set up as a repeat person electronic payment, agentOS remembers this connection. Future payments from the same source (same bank account, same payment reference) will automatically appear in blue when they arrive.

How to process blue entries Processing blue entries is much quicker than setting up new payments:

  1. Verify visually – Check the payment looks correct (right amount, right tenant)
  2. Tick the entry – Select the checkbox next to it
  3. Post it – Complete the posting process

You don't need to search for the property or tenant again because agentOS already knows where this payment should go.

First-time setup creates future efficiency When you process your first tenant rent payment properly, every subsequent payment from that tenant becomes a simple verification task. This is why taking time to set up payments correctly initially saves significant time in the long run.

If a payment appears in blue but something doesn't look right (wrong amount, unexpected timing), don't just post it—investigate or contact support@agentos.com for guidance.
