What data does agentOS send in the overnight BLM feed to Rightmove?

agentOS sends property listing data to Rightmove each night via a BLM (Rightmove) file. This article outlines which data fields are included in the feed and how common issues should be handled. This article is intended for internal staff use only.

agentOS transmits property data to Rightmove overnight using the BLM feed format. The feed runs automatically and populates your Rightmove listings with data held in agentOS.

Data fields included in the BLM feed

The following fields are sent as part of the overnight BLM upload:

  • Agent Reference
  • Full Address
  • Council Tax Exempt Status
  • Council Tax Band
  • Domestic Rates Amount
  • Deposit Amount
  • Property Facilities
  • Summary Description (truncated to 300 characters)
  • Full Description
  • Room Details (with dimensions and descriptions)
  • Photos
  • Floor Plans
  • EPC Graphs
  • Virtual Tours

Important notes on specific fields

Summary Description: This field is capped at 300 characters in the BLM format. If a property's summary description in agentOS exceeds this limit, it will be truncated in the feed. Advise clients to keep summary descriptions concise to avoid truncation on Rightmove.

Photos, floor plans, EPC graphs, and virtual tours: These are sent as file references within the BLM file. If media is missing from a Rightmove listing, confirm that the relevant files have been uploaded and published against the property in agentOS before the overnight feed ran.

How the feed works

The BLM upload runs overnight on a scheduled basis. Changes made in agentOS during the day will be reflected in Rightmove the following morning, once the feed has processed.

If a client reports a discrepancy between their agentOS record and their Rightmove listing, check whether:

  1. The property is marked as active and published in agentOS
  2. The relevant data fields are populated correctly
  3. The change was saved before the previous night's feed ran (if not, it will appear after the next scheduled upload)

Troubleshooting feed issues

If a client reports that their Rightmove listing is not updating, or that data is missing or incorrect, check the following:

  • Confirm the property is set to advertise on Rightmove within agentOS
  • Verify the data fields in question are completed and saved on the property record
  • Check whether the issue relates to a field that is included in the BLM feed (see list above) — fields not listed above are not transmitted via this feed
