What are the fees for using the agentOS Payment App?

Open banking payments cost £0.35 per request, with optional rent automation at £0.75 per payment (waived for Calmony Client Account holders). Card payments incur £0.10 plus 1.25% for debit cards or 1.85% for credit cards.

The agentOS Payment App offers transparent, competitive pricing for collecting payments from your clients. Fees vary depending on the payment method and whether you're using additional automation features.

Open banking payment fees:

  • Single payment request: £0.35 per request
  • Monthly recurring payment request: £0.35 per request
  • agentPay rent automation and reconciliation: Additional £0.75 per rent paid and processed (waived for Calmony Client Account holders)

The agentPay rent automation and reconciliation service automatically reconciles and posts payments to your client accounts, putting your landlord in credit and ready to be paid. This service is included when you set up a standing order through the Payment App.

Card payment fees (from 10th June 2024):

  • Debit cards: £0.10 + 1.25%
  • Credit cards: £0.10 + 1.85%

These fees apply whether clients pay through the Payment App, Standing Orders App, or Website Payment App.

How the charges work:

When you set up a payment request:

  1. Setup monthly payment: £0.35 (one-off charge when the standing order is created)
  2. Each rent automatically paid and reconciled: £0.75 per payment (waived for Calmony Client Account holders)

For example, if you set up a standing order for monthly rent, you pay £0.35 when the client authorises the standing order. Then, each month when the rent is automatically paid, you pay £0.75 for the automated reconciliation (unless you hold a Calmony Client Account, in which case this fee is waived).

Important notes:

  • When payment is made to a Calmony Client Account, there is no £0.75 charge for the payment processing
  • All fees are charged to your agentOS account, not deducted from client payments
  • Open banking is the recommended payment method due to lower fees and faster processing
