What are Progression Items in agentOS and how do I add them?
Progression Items act as workflow gates in agentOS, requiring you to complete set tasks before moving a tenancy to the next stage. You can add your own via the person icon > Settings > Service Types > Lettings Progression Checklist.
Progression Items work like gates within the system. They can be set so that a task must be completed before you can move to the next step — for example, you cannot move past the Let Agreed stage until right-to-rent checks have been carried out.
The system includes some pre-configured Progression Items, but you can add your own. It is worth planning the items you want on the system before you begin adding them.
How to add custom Progression Items
- Click the person icon in the top right of your agentOS screen.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Under the Lettings section, click Service Types.
- Click into the Service Type you want to add Progression Items to.
- On the left-hand side, you will see Lettings Progression Checklist — click this.
Adding a new item
On the Lettings Progression Checklist screen, you can add new Progression Items using the form at the top. Configure the following:
- Apply After — select the stage at which you want the item to appear (e.g., Let Agreed, Advertised).
- Task Description — the prompt that will appear to your staff.
- Due — the due date for the task.
- Optional — toggle to Yes if the task can be skipped and the tenancy can still progress.
- Must Comment — toggle to Yes if staff must add a comment when completing the item.
- Must Upload Documents — toggle to Yes if staff must upload a document to complete the item.
Once you are happy with the settings, click Add. The item will appear in the checklist below.
