Requesting a Client Account Mandate Letter
How to request written confirmation of account signatories and payment authority from Calmony
Calmony can provide a Client Account Mandate letter on request, confirming key details about a client account held with Griffin Bank. This is useful when an auditor, CMP scheme, or other third party needs written confirmation of who is authorised on an account.
What the letter confirms
Acting as agent for Griffin Bank, Calmony can confirm, on Griffin Bank's behalf:
- The names of the client account signatories
- Whether dual authority for payments applies to the account(s)
- The names of any individuals authorised for online access to the account(s), if appropriate
The letter also lists each authorised individual on the account along with their access level (Delegate access or Full payment access) and whether Dual Authority is required or not required for them.
How to request one
Contact Calmony directly to request a mandate letter for a specific client account. You'll need to confirm the client account name, sort code, and account number so Calmony can identify the correct account.
Who confirms the details
Calmony confirms the active signatories on the account and whether dual authority has been activated - this isn't something that can be self-certified, as it reflects the current authorisation setup held with Griffin Bank.
