How do I use the Reconcile System to Bank report in agentOS?

It works by showing the balance that should be reflected across your Client Bank Account and any other accounts you hold on agentOS, for any date in the past. The report relies on all bank statement entries for the period having been uploaded — though they do not need to have been fully posted or reconciled.

Accessing the report

  1. Go to the Accounts tab
  2. Scroll to the Reconciliation Reports section in the bottom half of the page
  3. Click Reconcile System to Bank
  4. Select a date in the past — this must be at least one day before today's date
  5. Click Generate Report

Reading the report

The report displays breakdowns across several sections covering sales, people balances, and unreconciled payments. You can change the items-per-page setting to view the full report on a single screen.

The total at the very bottom of the report is the figure that should match the balance shown on your actual bank account statement for the selected date.

If the figures do not match

If the agentOS total does not match your bank statement, contact support@agentos.com. Before getting in touch, have the following ready:

  • The last date on which the figures did match
  • Confirmation that you have uploaded all bank statement entries for the relevant accounts and period on agentOS
