How do I use the Calmony dashboard to manage my Griffin client account?

The Calmony dashboard provides complete control over your Griffin Bank client account, including transaction history, payee management, payment processing, and account statements.

Now that you have your logins, this guide will show you how to manage your Griffin client account through the Calmony dashboard. The dashboard is organised into several key sections, each providing specific functionality for managing your client account.


Section of the Account

Overview

The Overview section is your landing page after login and provides:

  • Transaction history for the last month by default
  • 'From' and 'To' date selectors to view different periods
  • Search functionality for dates, amounts, references, or names
  • Expandable transaction details (click small black arrows next to transactions)
  • Detailed payer/payee information for each transaction


Payees

Payees are anyone you can pay from the account, including landlords, contractors, deposit schemes, trading accounts, etc.

To add a new payee:

  1. Click 'Add' in the top right
  2. Select 'Payee Type'
  3. Enter required information (minimum: surname for initial save)
  4. Click 'Save and Close'
  5. Edit the payee record to add additional information

Payee Record Details:

When you open a payee record, you'll see several tabs:

  • Personal Details (name, contact information)
  • Bank Details (for payment processing)
  • Notes (verification history and communication log)
  • Calmony Verify Status


Payments

Once a payee is verified, you can make payments to them.

To make a payment:

  1. From the Payees section, click 'Actions' on the relevant payee
  2. Select 'Make Fast Payment'
  3. Enter:
    • Reference (max 18 alphanumeric characters)
    • Amount
    • Authenticator App Code (second code in your authenticator app)
  4. Click 'Make Fast Payment'

Payment Processing:

Payments are processed 24/7 and usually complete within 5 minutes. You can track payment status in the Fast Payment section.


Fast Payment Section

This section shows:

  • Log and status of all payments
  • Last 30 days by default (adjustable with date range selectors)
  • Expandable payment details (click black arrow)
  • Payment status indicators:
    • Green status: Completed payment
    • Red status: Failed payment

Failed Payments:

Failed payments will show the reason in the log (usually incorrect bank details). Failed payments must be recreated after correcting any issues.

Bank Statements

Bank statements are:

  • Generated automatically on the 1st of each month for the previous month
  • Available for download at any time
  • Accessible via the 'Account Monthly Statements' section

To download a statement:

  • Click the desired statement to download

  • Payment limits: Payments are subject to daily and per-transaction limits
  • Limit reviews: Contact your account manager if you need limits reviewed
  • Security: Keep your authenticator app codes secure
