How do I use agentOS brochure templates?
agentOS brochure templates are Microsoft Word documents in DocX format. You can use them as-is or customise the fonts, colours, and logo before uploading to agentOS via Office > System Letter Templates (lettings) or Office > Custom Document Templates (sales).
agentOS provides customisable brochure templates for both lettings and sales properties. These templates are designed to be used in a plug-and-play fashion and do not require modification, though you can customise font styles, colours, and your agency logo if you wish.
The templates are created in Microsoft Word and saved in DocX format. Any changes must be saved in DocX format. Basic familiarity with a word processor such as Microsoft Word is sufficient to make changes.
Important warning:
To ensure the brochure content remains in place when generated, the text boxes within the templates have been anchored. When making changes, do not un-anchor the text boxes. For fully custom brochures, contact support@agentos.com.
Understanding tags in brochure templates
Each template contains tags — short codes that the system uses to pull property information through into the brochure. For example, [[Instruction.Rooms.Address1]] will pull through Address Line 1 of the property.
Do not alter the wording of any tags, as doing so will prevent the information from displaying correctly.
You may add your agency logo to the brochure. All templates include an agentOS logo as a placeholder — simply remove this and insert your own image.
Uploading a lettings brochure
- Go to Office > System Letter Templates
- Find the letter type Property Brochure
- Click the Actions button > Upload Template File to upload your DocX file
- Ensure the Editable Docx field is set to Yes. If it shows No, click into the record, select Edit, and tick the Editable Docx option
- If you have multiple branches, a separate brochure template must be uploaded for each branch using the Add Service/Tenancy Type Template action, specifying the branch and selecting Property Brochure as the letter type
The brochure can be generated using the Print Brochure action on any Advertised or Let Agreed instruction (if you advertise let agreed properties).
Uploading a sales brochure
- Go to Office > Custom Document Templates
- Click Add and provide a name for the brochure
- Set the Output Type to Printing Only - PDF
- Set Generate For to Sales Instructions
- Click Save & Close
- Upload your brochure DocX file using the Actions button > Upload Template File
Your sales brochure will then be available under Saved Documents on any Sales Instruction.
