How do I set up two-factor authentication for logging into Calmony?
During your first login, scan the QR code displayed on screen with an authenticator app on your smartphone. This generates the time-based codes you'll need each time you log in.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) for login is set up during your first access to your Calmony Client Account. It is a required step that protects your account from unauthorised access.
What you'll need
An authenticator app on your smartphone, such as:
- Google Authenticator
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Authy
Setup process
When prompted during your first login, the system will display a QR code on screen. Open your authenticator app and scan this QR code. Once scanned, your app will begin generating time-based 6-digit codes that refresh every 30 seconds. You will need to enter one of these codes to complete each future login.
Important: Your login 2FA is entirely separate from your payment 2FA. After completing login authentication setup, you will also be prompted to set up payment authentication, which generates a different set of codes used exclusively when authorising payments. Do not use your login code when making payments, or vice versa.
