How do I set up an out of office message in agentOS?

To enable out of office, open your inbox in agentOS and click the Enable Out of Office button in the bottom right of the screen. You can customise the email and optional SMS message before activating.

agentOS includes an out of office feature that automatically sends a reply to contacts who email you while you are away.

Enabling out of office

  1. Click the inbox icon in the top navigation bar to open your inbox.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the inbox. You will see the Enable Out of Office button in the bottom right-hand corner.
  3. Click it to open the out of office configuration window.
  4. Customise the following:
    • Out of Office Email Subject — the subject line for your auto-reply (defaults to "Out of office")
    • Out of Office Email — the body of your auto-reply email. You can edit this using the formatting toolbar provided.
    • Out of Office SMS (Optional) — an optional SMS auto-reply message for any incoming texts
  5. Once you are happy with the wording, save your settings. Out of office is now active.

When out of office is enabled, a banner will appear at the bottom of your inbox confirming that it is active.

Disabling out of office

To turn off out of office, return to your inbox and click the Disable Out of Office button at the bottom of the screen.
