How do I set up an Esendex SMS account for a client?

Esendex SMS accounts are set up by completing the internal order form and emailing it to Esendex. The form requires the account type, the correct customer invoice code, and the username to be assigned to the account.

Note: This article is intended for internal staff use only and is not intended for clients.

Overview

When a client requires an Esendex SMS account, the order must be placed directly with Esendex by completing the order form and submitting it to their sales team. The form captures the account type required, which internal customer or invoice account the order should be raised against, and which username should be assigned.


Step 1 — Select the Account Type

Choose the appropriate account type for the client by ticking or adding the relevant keyword in the Account Type section of the form:

Virtual Mobile Number Tick as required — currently the default selection
Standard Shortcode on 60066 Tick as required
Freetext on 80800 Tick as required
MMS Tick as required

Step 2 — Select the Customer / Invoice Account

Tick the correct customer account that the order should be raised against:

000380 Pinnacle
001323 Let MC
004174 Let MC Corp

Step 3 — Select the Username

Tick the username that should be assigned to the Esendex account:

Step 4 — Submit the Form

Once the form is completed, email it to Esendex at sales@esendex.com.
