When reconciling bank statement entries in agentOS with a Calmony-linked account, you can import a person's bank details directly from an incoming payment and save them against their record in agentOS. This is useful both for adding bank details to a person who does not yet have any saved, and for updating existing bank details that may have changed.
Saving a person's bank details in this way means that future payments from that same bank account can be automatically recognised and linked to the correct person, supporting the auto link features available with Calmony.
How to save person bank details from the reconcile screen
- Go to Accounts in the top navigation, then open Bank Accounts and click into your relevant client account.
- Navigate to Reconcile Statements from the left-hand menu.
- Find the relevant statement entry and click the Actions button to the right.
- Select Save Person Bank Details from the Actions menu.
- In the panel that appears, you will see the account details from the incoming payment (for example, the account name and sort code/account number).
- Use the Person dropdown to search for and select the person in agentOS you wish to associate these details with.
- Select the appropriate Account Type (for example, Business or Personal).
- Click Save to confirm.
Important: Saving bank details using this method will override any existing bank details already saved against the selected person. A warning is displayed before you confirm, so review your selection carefully before proceeding.
