How do I run NRL reports and perform an NRL draw down in agentOS?
NRL quarterly and annual return reports are available under the Accounting tab. To draw down collected NRL funds, go to Accounting > Bank Accounts, open the relevant account, and select Draw Down NRL from the Actions menu.
Viewing and generating NRL reports
If you manage landlords with NRL status, you will need to produce NRL returns periodically. agentOS includes built-in reports to support this.
To access NRL reports:
- Go to the Accounting tab in agentOS.
- Navigate to Tax Reports.
- You will see the following report options:
- NRL Annual Return
- NRL Quarterly Return
- ROPL-01
- Select the relevant report.
- In the filter bar at the top of the page, select either a year end or quarter end date as appropriate.
- Click Generate Report.
The report will display a landlord breakdown showing NRL account transactions for the selected period. You can export this to Excel using the Export to Excel button.
agentOS calculates all NRL figures automatically based on the NRL status settings recorded on each landlord's profile.
Performing an NRL draw down
An NRL draw down transfers the NRL tax funds that have been collected from landlord payments out of the NRL holding area within your bank account.
To perform an NRL draw down:
- Go to the Accounting tab and click on Bank Accounts.
- Click on the relevant bank account to open it.
- Click the Actions button in the top right of the page.
- From the drop-down menu, select Draw Down NRL (found under the Accounting section of the Actions menu).
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the draw down.
