How do I notify agentOS of a contract termination?
To terminate your agentOS contract, written notice must be sent to support@agentos.com. Clients are on 24-month rolling contracts, and a 3-month notice period applies. You should export your data before your end date, as data is deleted 90 days after access ceases.
When providing notice to agentOS to terminate your contract, it is essential to follow the correct process and adhere to the terms and conditions of your agreement.
Contract terms
Clients are typically on 24-month rolling contracts from the outset. You remain in contract until your specified renewal date. If you wish to give notice, you may do so from 3 months prior to your renewal date up to the renewal date itself. If the renewal date passes without notice being given, a new 24-month rolling contract begins automatically.
If notice is provided well in advance of the renewal date, the steps below should be followed.
Accepting notice
Confirmation of acceptance of notice must be provided in writing to support@agentos.com. An email will be sent back to you confirming your end date. Support will continue to be provided until that date, after which access to the system will cease.
Important: You are strongly advised to export all of your data before your end date. Data is deleted 90 days after the end date. Any data not exported within this period cannot be recovered.
Data hosting option
If you need continued access to your data after your end date but do not wish to maintain a full subscription, a data hosting option may be available. Please contact support@agentos.com to discuss this.
Providing notice in advance
If notice is provided well before the renewal date, the following steps apply:
- Send written confirmation of your intention to give notice to support@agentos.com.
- agentOS will acknowledge receipt and confirm your renewal/end date.
- A formal notice period cannot begin until the window of 3 months prior to the renewal date opens.
- You will be reminded when your notice period becomes active.
- During the notice period, you should begin exporting your data and preparing for offboarding.
