How do I import my existing lettings data into agentOS or agentPay?

We provide integration spreadsheet templates for importing your existing lettings data. We offer both mandatory and optional spreadsheets depending on how much information you want to transfer.

1. Onboarding Blueprint A companion guide that explains all data fields and how to complete the spreadsheets correctly. This ensures your data is ready for import and minimises unnecessary data entry. The blueprint serves as your reference point for understanding which fields are required and how they should be formatted.
2. Example Spreadsheets Dummy data spreadsheets showing how all the templates link together and how they should look when complete. These use colour-coded IDs to demonstrate how our importer connects the information, with mandatory fields shown in bold.

Do I have to import all my data, or can I enter it manually?
The choice is yours. If you have fewer than 50 properties, you're welcome to add them manually to the system yourself if you prefer. For larger portfolios, we recommend using the data import process to save time.
Important note for agentPay app only clients: If you only have access to the agentPay app (rather than full agentOS access), it is not recommended that you add the data yourself. Please contact onboarding@agentos.com to discuss the best approach for your situation.
Can I get help completing the import spreadsheets?
Absolutely. Whilst you're free to complete the spreadsheets yourself, your onboarding contact can either assist you or complete them for you entirely. Simply contact onboarding@agentos.com to discuss what level of support you'd like.
Understanding Mandatory Fields:
Although certain fields on the spreadsheets are marked as mandatory, they may not apply to your specific situation or business model. If you're unsure whether a mandatory field applies to you or how best to handle it, please contact onboarding@agentos.com. Your onboarding contact will advise you on the best approach for your circumstances.
Important timeline note: Data import typically takes the longest time during onboarding. The sooner you can provide completed spreadsheets or your existing data, the faster we can progress with your setup.
