How do I handle a landlord who has a care of (c/o) address as their permanent address?
Where a landlord uses a care of address as their permanent address, a separate Griffin Address can be added for verification purposes. The permanent address continues to be used for correspondence.

A Griffin Address is a separate address type used specifically for verification purposes. Where a landlord's permanent address is a care of (c/o) address, the Griffin Address can be added to hold the actual residential address used for identity verification, whilst the permanent address (e.g., the c/o address) continues to be used for correspondence as normal.
In practice:
- If a landlord's permanent address on their record is a care of address, add their actual residential address as the Griffin Address.
- Griffin will use the Griffin Address for verification rather than the permanent address.
- The permanent address remains on the record and is used for correspondence.
This approach allows care of addresses to be retained for correspondence without causing issues during the verification process.
