How do I generate a tenancy agreement in agentOS?
Search for the property address, open the tenancy, go to the Tenants tab, click Actions next to the relevant tenant, and select Landlord Print, Post, or Email Agreement. Choose any additional documents to include and confirm.
Step 1: Find the tenancy
Using the search bar at the top of the screen, type the address of the property. Select the correct tenancy from the results.
Step 2: Open the Tenants tab
Once inside the tenancy record, click into the Tenants tab on the left-hand side. This will display all tenants linked to the property.
Step 3: Select the action
Click the Actions button along the relevant tenant row and select one of the following:
- Landlord Print Agreement — to generate a PDF copy
- Landlord Post Agreement — to send to the Post Bag for authorisation or editing
- Landlord Email Agreement — to send by email
Step 4: Select additional documents
A window will appear where you can choose to include additional documents alongside the agreement, such as a Cover Letter or Check List. Toggle each option as required, then click the relevant confirmation button to proceed.
Step 5: Review in the Post Bag (if posted)
If you selected Post Agreement, go to Office > Post Bag to review the document before it is sent. From there you can authorise, edit, or skip the letter as required. For guidance on editing a posted agreement, refer to the article How do I edit a tenancy agreement using the Post Bag in agentOS?
