How do I create a window display template in agentOS?

Create a Word Docx template with your branding, add system tags and property image placeholders, then upload it via Office > System Letter Templates under the Property Window Display letter type.

agentOS supports custom Window Display templates that are uploaded and managed in Office > System Letter Templates, under the letter type Property Window Display.

Requirements:

You will need access to Microsoft Word, or another word processor capable of producing files in .docx format.

Step 1: Create your template

Create a new blank document in Word, or open an existing Window Display draft you already have.

Begin by adding your branding — your logo, footer, and any other fixed elements you want to appear on every Window Display.

Locking elements in place:

It is strongly recommended that you use Lock anchor on all fixed elements (images, text boxes, shapes) to prevent them from shifting when property information is populated. To do this in Word, right-click any element and go to More Layout Options or Size and Position, then tick Lock anchor. Also un-tick Move object with text to further secure the element's position.

Step 2: Add system tags

Tags are short codes that pull information from agentOS into your document. To add a tag, insert a text box in the position where you want the information to appear, and type the tag inside it. The text box must have enough room to display the information.

For a full list of available Window Display tags, refer to the article What tags can I use in a window display in agentOS?

Step 3: Add property images

Photos must be set up in 4:3 format to display correctly.

To add a photo placeholder, insert a new text box where you want the photo to appear. Note the height measurement from the Shape Format tab, then calculate the required width to maintain a 4:3 ratio. Type the relevant image tag (such as [[PropertyOID]:GetPropertyImage(0)]) inside the text box.

Step 4: Upload the template

Once your template is complete, save it as a .docx file.

Go to Office > System Letter Templates and locate the Property Window Display letter type. Click Actions > Upload Template File and upload your file.
