How do I close a Calmony client account?
The closure process differs depending on whether the account is a Modulr account or a Griffin account. Both accounts require the balance to be zero before closure can be completed.
Note: This article is intended for internal staff use only and is not intended for clients.
Modulr accounts: Contact the Modulr support team directly to request account closure.
Griffin accounts:
- Log in to the Griffin portal.
- Navigate to Account > Settings > Close Account.
- Note: the account balance must be zero before the account can be closed. Ensure all funds have been transferred out before initiating closure.
In both cases, confirm with the client that they no longer require the account and that all outstanding transactions have been resolved before proceeding.
