How do I add a solicitor and link them to a Sales Instruction in agentOS?

Adding a Solicitor

1. Click Sales in the top navigation bar
2. Click Solicitors
3. Click Add in the top right-hand corner
4. Complete the form with the solicitor's details across the following tabs:
   • Personal Details — name, company name, contact details, email, mobile, date of birth, country, and solicitor reference
   • Notes
   • CRM
5. In the Office Details section, set the branch this solicitor is managed by and toggle AML Check Completed if applicable
6. Click Save & Close

The solicitor profile will open in a new tab.

Adding the Solicitor's Address

Once the profile is open, navigate to Addresses in the left-hand navigation panel. You will see a contact entry showing "Please Specify" under the address fields. Click the orange Actions button next to it and select Edit Contact. In the new window, update the address fields and click Edit Contact to save.

Linking a Solicitor to a Sales Instruction

Once both the buyer's and vendor's solicitors have been added to the system, they can be linked to the relevant Sales Instruction:

1. Open the Sales Instruction
2. Click Edit in the top right-hand corner
3. Select the Sale Progress tab
4. In the Buyer section, begin typing in the Buyer's Solicitor field to search for the relevant solicitor and select them
5. In the Vendor section, begin typing in the Vendor's Solicitor field to search for and select the vendor's solicitor
6. Click Save

The Sale Progress tab also contains fields for recording key progression dates, including Mortgage Valuation, Mortgage Offer Received, Survey, Local Search Received, Draft Contracts Issued, Purchaser Signed, Contract Approved, and Vendor Signed.
