How do I add a permitted occupier to a tenancy in agentOS?

agentOS doesn't currently have a dedicated permitted occupier field, but you can add one using custom fields on the tenant record. This lets you capture the information and pull it through into your tenancy documents.

Step 1: Create a custom field for permitted occupier
  1. Go to the relevant tenant record
  2. Click Customise Record on the right-hand side of the screen
  3. Select Add Your Custom Fields
  4. Create a new text field and name it something clear, for example: Permitted Occupier Name
  5. Save the field and enter the permitted occupier's name against the relevant tenant record

Step 2: Add the field to your tenancy document

To pull the permitted occupier name through into a document, you'll need the field's API ID. See our guide on using custom fields in document templates for how to find it and build the correct tag.

Once you have the tag, insert it into your Custom Document Template in Word, save, and re-upload the file via Office > Custom Document Templates > Actions > Upload Template File.
