Adding Additional Calmony Accounts
Additional accounts can be opened within one business day and are charged at £9.50/month.
- Simply email support@calmony.co from your registered email address with your requested account name, and we'll have it set up within one business day.
- Once the account has been opened, we'll let you know. You'll then need to complete two steps:
Link a verified landlord profile to the new account
💡 Important: linking a verified landlord is what activates the new account.
- Go to Payees and select the landlord profile you wish to link
- Click Actions (top right-hand corner) → Linked Accounts - Link Additional → select the new Calmony account
Generate a new payment 2FA code
- Go to Staff App & Payments Access → Actions → Setup 2FA Authenticator
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
- You'll have a new 2FA code for making payments — please discard the previous one (this does not affect your login 2FA code)
Please note: while you can name your Calmony account anything you like, the underlying bank account is held in your company's name. When sharing payment details with payers, the account name will still show as your company name, not the Calmony account name.
Internal Use Only
To open the new account on Banking Instance:
Person icon → Manage Calmony Accounts → Actions → Open Calmony Client Bank Account (Griffin) → Enter the Calmony account name
To open the new account on the AgentOS Platform:
Accounts → Bank Accounts → Actions → Open Calmony Client Bank Account (Griffin) → Enter the Calmony account name
Once opened:
- Ask a colleague (Tim or Glyn) to reinstate payment access for any users on the account who currently have it. To check, go to Staff App & Payments Access - anyone without 'Withdrawn' beside their name will need to be reinstated.
- Reply to the client confirming the account has been opened, and let them know they'll need to complete the following two steps:
Link a verified landlord profile to the new account
- Go to Payees and select the landlord profile they wish to link
- Click Actions (top right-hand corner) → Linked Accounts - Link Additional → select the new Calmony account
Reinstate payment access
- Go to Staff App & Payments Access → Actions → Setup 2FA Authenticator
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
- This will generate a new payment 2FA code - your previous one will no longer work. Your login 2FA code is not affected.
